Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes

The scheduled meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was conducted on last 15th of July, this year. The meeting was chaired by HOA President Jones, with attendance of homeowners in attendance.

After call to order, the minutes from the previous meeting were examined and approved with no amendments.

  • Mr. Davis, gave a brief financial overview outlining the current situation of the homeowner association's funds.
  • A number of homeowners raised concerns regarding ongoing developments in the neighborhood, such as the proposed community garden construction and streetlight maintenance.
  • The board addressed the homeowner's queries, providing clarifications about the projects.

Following the conversation, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for November, 2023.

Considered Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The HOA is currently discussing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed changes are designed to enhance the standard of life for all residents while resolving present concerns and promoting a thriving community.

  • Among the proposed amendments are standards related to yard maintenance, quiet hours, and parking regulations.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to review the proposed amendments carefully and provide their feedback by the deadline.
  • A public forum will be scheduled on September 8th to discuss the proposed amendments in greater detail.

Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative

Our enthusiastic community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more picturesque place to live. The Beautification Project aims to enhance the visual appeal of our community by adding trees, cleaning up public spaces, and supporting a sense of ownership.

HOA Board Election Information - Sherwood Lakes

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is right around the corner. This year, we encourage all homeowners to take part in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the Sherwood Lakes Community Center.

A list of eligible candidates and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 1st. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please reach out to the HOA management company.
